A very simple route to enjoy with the family, between Avín and Benia de Onís. We start from the parking lot of La Cueva de Fauna Glacial in Avín, following a path that crosses the river and goes through an area of scrubland next to a stone wall. It soon joins the concrete track that leads to the Castru Hermitage.
The return is very simple, first along a track that runs through woods and meadows and then along the sidewalk along the main road linking the two towns.
A cool route to escape the heat in summer and beautiful in autumn during the changing color of the leaves.
